I worked part time, like four hours every day, at a place taht marked tires every two hours. I would forget to move my car, and get tickets all the time.

Once I moved my car, and I still got a ticket for "Space Hopping"

Wouldn't they give designated parking (maybe a fee) to business employees? How much could you be making working part time that it was worthwhile to get tickets all the time?

Anyway, that sucks.

Golly, I bet noone EVER thought of that before, especially some municipal money-grubbing law-making twit. You can probably get away with that ......

Give it a shot. We're with ya.

In Chicago, you will (at the least) get a ticket ($50.00-$100.00). Worse case, they'll tow your car (~$275.00 to get it back) ... it depends on where the meter is located).

You are not allowed to "feed the meters." The rational presented is that the metered spaces are for shoppers or people that are trying to do business in that neighborhood.

Given that all-day parking is $12.00-$24.00, feeding the meters would (if it wasn't enforced) cost much less and the workers / employees would take all the spaces.

Don't even think of feeding the meter in most places around Chicago: It'll cost you .... and they WILL collect.

I see nothing wrong with doing that. It's a simple loophole :)
Back completely out of the parking spot... pull back in.

if it were legal, whether or not they marked your tires would have no bearing.
