ATOT may not be be the best forum for this but whatever. I'm sure there's plenty of metal lovers here to warrant this thread.

Basically I just want to get some discussion going on for the world of Metal. Upcoming releases,tour dates, arguments about how "growling" isn't really singing etc...

YES!!!! I fucking love Gojira! From Mars to Sirius is one of my favorite albums, and all their stuff is fantastic.

Anyone into folk metal? I just saw Paganfest up in Toronto with Huntress, Arkona, Alestorm, Ex Deo and Turisas. Good stuff. Huntress and Arkona have female vocalists, and the one from Arkona has a pretty decent growl. No Arch Enemy/Angela Gossow, but it fits the music well.
