That isn't fair. I don't like reading huge threads to find certain good games. I'm glad Rieper posted this or I would have never noticed it.

GOOD POST!

GOOD POST!

I agree, I wouldn't have seen it neither.
Never played it, but at $20 it's worth a shot.

thanks,

Led.

I agree....Good Post 🙂

Forgot to mention that if you price match at Circuit City you will end up paying $17.48 + $1.44(tax) here in New York. When they call Electronics Boutique for the pricematch you have to ask them to look in the computer. Otherwise, they wont know about the price drop. There are about 25-30 copies at Circuit City on Broadway and 80th Street - Second Floor. Don't know how long this will last. Good luck!

Somebody else posted that instore they have a holiday flyer, and on it there is a $10 rebate for this game....I have not verified the info though....🙂

This is such a HOT deal that will prolly disappear very soon that a separate thread like this prolly IS warranted.

But as for the BIG LIST...the reasons you mention are why the first post of that thread is a continually updated list that compiles all the deals mentioned in the entire thread.

Also, the list is grouped and alphabetized (especially the Games section) so people can find things quickly.
Also, recent or updated deals are in bold...again to help folks quickly find new or recent changes to the list.

Just thought I'd point out those features, since I've noticed MANY folks who don't realize how the BIG LIST thread actually works.

BTW: The last dozen or so posts in the BIG LIST thread detail some ways folks have been able to get the price for MGS2:S down to $18 or less. Might be worth a look.

Thanx for the deal.

I've played MGS2 for PS2 and liked it, but I wanted to know what people think of this game in comparison to Splinter Cell. Since I'm buying an Xbox soon, I wanted to know which one I should grab first.

If you kept up with the thread, you would only have to read the last page, simple as that.

For those who might not have a CC or BB locally, but have a Meijer's or WalMart (who doesn't), I was able to print out the ad from the Web site at EB and price match at our local Meijer's last night. Had the game in hand without the shipping - just paid tax. Now my son can enjoy it and I can take back the $50 copy I had for him.

I also printed out the GoGamer ad and PM the NOLF2 game at WalMart too for $19.90. Not a bad night for PMing!

This is a great deal, and I verifed the price and the $10 EB gift card. Here are the scans of the GC rebate form:Text

$24.99 now.
Should change the thread title.

I was playing it yesterday, not much time between Splinter Cell and Mechassault, but the controls take some time getting use to. i don't remember the controls being this weird on the PS2, but oculd just be me. It's cool, but weird. In Snake Tales, you'll be in the middle of a simple mission and during the mission Snake recalls how the mission started and all of a sudden you're playing a VR mission within the mission. Weird.

Walked in to EBgames...rang up $19.99 yesterday, just as it should. The manager even started to put markdown prices on alot of games, this one included.

How does that work? Where did you find the coupon? And is it in-store only? I purchased mine online and it's a great deal but a $10 GC included is an even better deal! 🙂 (especially for when I buy MK😀A)
