fafo!
Now they will force Amazon to stop to sell it.
It will fail hard. It's screwing the situation against their will.

This was so predictable lol. I heard about the suppression effort for the book last week and would have bought it right away, except I don’t buy from Amazon when I can avoid it anymore. Next trip to my local book store.

I don’t even really want to read it but I’ll speed through it if Meta doesn’t want me to

It's probably a much better read than you anticipate. I say this based on this NYTimes article. Read that and particularly the Comments by readers.

Zuckerberg and Sandberg have no moral compass.

This paywall penetrating link expires in around 12 days, can't remember the exact date.

I mean, duh. That fact was known the entire time. Zuck has always been a complete piece of shit. I don't think I've heard anything good about Sandberg either (how do you think she got where she is?). She's most famous for sucking dick and then telling women that maybe they should just let guys harass and assault them so they too can climb the corporate dick ladder. Ladies, lean in!

If the whistleblower actually has serious claims tied to Meta’s internal practices, especially around contracts, advertising metrics, or procurement processes, it wouldn’t be the first time a tech giant ran into legal heat.

And depending on what’s in that book, it could even open the door to whistleblower claims tied to procurement fraud, especially if federal contracts are involved.

Assholes are such funny people. They are as proud as punch at their mastery of the art but yet profoundly defensive about having the actions of their skill properly sourced.

The thing is Musk has done Zuck a huge favour, by making Twitter/X, and himself, even more dislikeable. I'd almost forgotten how much I hate Facebook, as a result of being so distracted by how much I hate Elon.
