And nothing happened. He didn't even seem too interested in talking to me, even though he asked me to come over. Just text messaged some friends, and sat way on the other end of the couch. And when it was time for me to leave (around 11), he didn't even get up. I just said I should probably be going, and he didn't seem to care.
Nor did he offer to walk me to my car since there was a gang of about 15 black dudes fighting about something outside the apartment.
Am I that repulsive? That's what I get for venturing outside my apartment.
Oh well.

Update: Asked him out and he said yes.
Asked someone else out too, and thinking he would say no, he said yes.
Now I have two dates.

are you ugly?

I have always believed it so.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you're not. Seriously - you're fvcking gorgeous :p

he said they were arguing about something. and yes 15 black guys arguing about something is more scary.

I'm going to venture out on a limb here, and guess that he was probably hoping you were a booty call.
Dont waste your time on that one.

Well....er....uh .... I guess he's not worth your time??? Not to used to dude on dude relationship conversations

Who knows. Everyone tells me to get over it. That I am cute, and that I should talk to more guys. So I did.

Well if it was me.. (with a woman) and she didn't pay attention to me I would keep drawing cards untill I got the right hand.... I know there is a guy who works across the hall from me... He went to school has a great job, and I don't think he has any trouble finding dates..... You have to like yourself before anyone else will like you, so I guess work on you before you work on anyone else liking you.... hope this helps.

I tried to be good company.
He said he had a 98 Mustang, and so I asked him about his car and car related things. He didn't even know if it was a v6 or a gt.
Then I saw some art on his wall, Van Gogh, and I asked him about it and art in general, and he said, "Van Who?" He just thought they were pretty.
Then we were talking about movies, and I asked him about a few he might like and he didnt know what I was talking about.
Then we got to talking about gay right, and a GLBT club at the school here, and I knew more about it than he did, and I am not enrolled.

I tried to find a major area of interest for him, but I kept hitting dead ends.

wow sorry for all the quotes, dont know what happened there.

I thought with man-on-man it's like, hey, wanna fvck? And then you have a couple of beers afterwards and/or just leave. What's with all the trying to have a conversation and stuff? :D

lol, I wish that's how it was with woman to men!

kinda kinky there eh casper? hehe

anyway, just keep trying, there are plenty of great guys out there. i know a lot of great guys who are both handsome, not so handsome, and good peeps.

like what was stated earlier, look inside yourself first to really love the person you are before you go trying to find someone. usually when you put out the i hate myself routine you attract the jerks.

i wish you the best of luck :)

Update: First date went good. He came with friends and we met for coffee. His friends were great, and he was nice and very attractive.
And he showed me a Curious George tattoo on his lower lower abdomen, like way below the belt. That was hot. We agreed that next date, just him and I.

I think some of you guys are being really closed-minded about this whole thing. Zysoclaplem was just trying to post a thread about his love life, just like any other guy would do, except his relationship is with another male. Instead of being supportive or even silent you have to be derrogatory. At least show the guy some respect!
