Messenger Update is Duff

I would advise people not to install the latest messenger update on XP, ive seen it on 3 machines so far and they're all the same. It causes norton to hang on shutdown and also messes with the 'bits' service, which was a problem with the original messenger and was fixed in the second update but is now back for the latest version.
