Messed up a: drive

My friend has an LS-120 floppy drive and it is on the IDE channel, but when he starts up, then the BIOS says that there is a problem with the a: drive. Everything works, but then it shows two drives when he is in Windows 98.
 
Yeah...we tried to disable it, but it still did it. I would have assumed that would work, but we'll have to try it again
