Better than M. Moore. I wonder if the speaker understands that if an American soldier deserts, he can't ever go home. Just one more misconception about us that they hold.

Any soldier willing to stand up for what is right and come home and deny bush his tools of agression is welcome in my home.

Most of the soldiers there believe in what they are doing because they are there, closer than any of us. That aside, your home wouldn't be safe for him long. The penalty for desertion is death. That hasn't been applied in years, but the law still stands.

For those who believe this war is right, do any of you honestly believe that we are turning the corner in Iraq. Judging by this video, the resistance is STRONGER than ever, and will continue to grow and wreak havoc on our troops and the civilians. I say get out now, admit defeat, surrender our pride and go home with the lessons learned.

Would you market it as a resource war? If you need to kill your neighbor to steal some of his stuff, would you outright say that or would you say he was threatening you somehow?

Certainly not! The majority of the soldiers are in their early 20s, duped into this illegal war by their administration. They were given an impression that this war would be easy, that after major combat has ended, Iraqis would welcome them with open arms. The nation-wide insurgency is a testament to the fact that the people of Iraq, as a unified nation hate the occupation and those who have brought it. The insurgents are none other than ordinary Iraqis.

Why is it that the morale among American soldiers has hit 'rock bottom'? They are learning the hard way that this isn't the noble cause that their president brought them here for. If the soldiers truly cared about the betterment of the Iraqi people, Abu Ghuraib wouldn't have happened. If any soldier by now doesn't recognize the fact that he/she is just a pawn in Bush's middle east scheme, he/she is delusional. The people of the world can see through this war for what it really is: a sham. How stupid does Bush take the world to be?

I suggest everyone read ODAC and ASPO's websites and learn why Iraq's 117 billion barrels of oil (<4 years consumption btw) is important.

The pipelines are target number one. The US can't guard every mile of pipe.
