I want to thank all of my TeAm Mates for their expressions of support. You guys are the greatest. :)

Most of you are not aware of what's going on so here's the scoop. I'm currently in Detroit, Michigan accompanying my brother who has just undergone Robotic Prostrate Surgery. It is not, as MoFunk inquired, a robotic prostate replacement. lol

Here is a link to The Henry Ford Hospital, VIP Division where you can see what this procedure is all about. I would highly recommend this to any of you that ever get diagnosed with prostate cancer. IMHO, you need to at least give it your highest consideration.

I have good news to report. :D

The surgery went off without a hitch and there were no signs of other malignancies in any of the adjoining tissues. My brother is already walking laps up and down the hospital hall.

Some of you are probably wondering why you have not been bothered lately with messages from "Smoke". The reason is while here in Detroit I am using my brother's AOL internet service to gain access to the web (at < 56K). :( Since AnandTech blocks AOL I have not been able to make any forum posts. Strangely I can read and send PMs. This will remain the situation until late in the day, January 18th.

I can receive and send PMs (as I mentioned) here on the AT Forums and you can always contact me on the Deception.Net Forum.

Keep up the good fight and once more thank you all for your kind words. :)

Yes but, this is the first I've heard. It should make all of us, that are just reaching our prime ;) , think about
the Vintage years. Thanks for the heads up Smoke and hope all goes well. We are giving our all, holding down the fort while your gone and awaiting your return. Let us know if we can help or do anything for you or your brother. We are all here for both you. Maybe give us an addy so we can send some flowers or a card or something.

Lets not get too proud here ........Remember ....you set the standard, we all follow your lead. :wine:
