Hello everyone. Hope you had a nice Christmas and got everything you wanted. I have one slight question. My parents got me a 27 inch tv for christmas and i hooked that up to my puter so i could use it to play games on...but one slight problem, the text is pretty hard to read. I have an nvidea geforce 4 and it has some program on it that is suppose to make it a little easier to read. Is there some special program out there that makes these words read-able. Any help at all would be great. Thanks alot and once again MERRY CHRISTMAS

What resolution are you trying to put out to that TV - I have to run my setup at 640X480 for the text to be "clear" on the TV but I just use 800X600 and suffer. BTW - my TV sucks too, and I'm sure that's part of the reason.

If the taskbar at the bottom of the screen is blocking the OK button, you can press the Tab key to move the focus to the hidden OK button, then press Enter. Or you can pull this trick: click-&-hold on an emtpy section of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, and drag it to the left or right side of the screen, or even the top! :D This gets it out of the way. Or you can right-click the Taskbar and set it to auto-hide, too. Good luck with your new goodies! :D

Any standard TV hooked up to a computer with the composite connection will look like crap, no matter what resolution you run it in, or else everything will be way too big. If S-Video is an option try that, as it will provide better quality. Something else that would help (but is probably not an option for you) is to use an ATI video card. ATI's cards typically have better 2D IQ, not only in the HD15 dept., but also in the Composite and S-Video dept. :)
