OMG, I read all over the news daily about these companies stock ratings taking a rise
IF the company also "just happens" to be an investment banking client as well.........
Then I see companies like Vision Tek and MSI being touted as "top ranked manufacturers for quality" in *cough* some *cough* tech. forums..........
Getting tough to ignore some of the ommissions in *cough* some *cough* technical forum reviews..........

Dear *cough* some *cough* forums,
Did you know that there are manufacturing companies which study the reference design specificaitons of a planned product with the sole purpose
of finding the cheapest method of component procurement, fabrication and distribution with little or no attention to performance of the product beyond
those minimums to prevent product returns? While these are a great addition to our choices because they offer cut-rate pricing on "similarly" performing
products, they are not what some might expect in the description of a "top ranked manufacturer" Wouldn't it make sense for a "top rank" to suggest
the best PERFORMING product in terms of product life as well as "out of the box"? Shouldn't this "top ranking" also consider product support? Wouldn't
it be great if a "top ranked" manufacturer also offered "top ranked" software with their product?
Please, please, please tell me a "top ranking" has nothing to do with who will give you free samples or offer you a discount or put a banner on your fourm
