Merging Partition Problem using PQMAGIC 6.0 ??

I have formatted the three partitions I have on my 20 GIG Maxtor and want to merge the 3 partitions into one, since I just purchased a new HD. So I have tried every possible alternative using PQMagic but I always seem to get an "Error 88, disk not found". I would like to consolidate the 20 gigs into one partition but don't know how to do so. I was wondering if this is because I have the HD as a slave on a Raid port on my Epox board. I am not using RAID, but just the ports since I have more than 4 IDE devices. Any suggestions on how to merge these partitions together? Thanks.
