I would say that it really depends on the game.
In the FPS genre kb+m>*. Especially in a fast paced game like Unreal. Primary reason is a controller has a fixed rotational speed whereas with a mouse I can turn 180* as fast as I can flick my wrist.

I hope so. Then I can play guitar hero 3 for the pc and use my 360 guitar!:)

Every preview of the pc version so far has stated that the KB/M controls feel superior.

I would not mind playing against the Xboxers as long as there is an option to mute them.

they make accuracy adjustments to account for the superiority of the mouse.

that's what i mean by "shafting." same thing happened in shadowrun - mouse users had huge accuracy penalties after turning quickly, among other things IIRC.
