I would say you'll most likely be fine with the PC.
Looks as tho ur vid card will make up where your cpu lacks.

360 version. When I was watching one of the gameplay trailers you could see the onscreen 360 controller button cues coming up.
 
i saw this game awhile back and it sounds interesting but after seeing some gameplay vids, i'm not so sure. i hope there's a demo.
 
Who knows if it will be any good but the commercials that are running endlessly on tv are great and that song gets stuck in my head for a while afterwards.

played the first on regular xbox. Don't see much improvement in this one given the time that has passed.
 
My 2 cents worth:
The original Mercenaries on the Xbox was quite enjoyable. Primary gripe was the fog/very limited view distance. That will not be an issue with the 2nd one.
While it may not visually look absolutely stellar, think about this... Can you blow up everything you see in Crysis? I think not.
And I'm surprised about complaining at the price... What did you expect, $19.95? Sorry, it's not a budget title.
I expect this to be more entertaining than GTA IV, but to each their own.

It's a new title man, a high budget one and on consoles it's $10 more, when was the last time you saw a high-profile new game release for less than $49?

Seriously, I'm VERY interested in hearing your reasoning on why it should cost 30 bucks.
 
Your right, I guess I'm just used to picking them up on sale at BB or CC. Which is probably what I will do with this one.
 
even i think sale prices are too high 😀

i loved it when CC had 50% sale off of 19.99 games.. got a few decent ones (STALKER, Ghott Recon 2, etc)

You might be able to blow everything up, afaik the animations for blowing up buildings will be the same, every single time. I think it's nice to be able to blow shit up, but being able to make a 3-4 story high building collapse, with just 1 shot of a rocketlauncher? Come on now ... It takes at least 2 😛
 
Anyone play this yet? I see that there are some user reviews on Gamespot. Most of them are pretty highly rated.

I need to go into town later for some other stuff, kinda would like to pick it up then if it is good.

I found the first one on the Xbox to be very good. Not superb of course, but overall good. The video linked in the OP looks cool except it seems too fast paced and arcadey, like MarcVenice said with the one rocketlauncher shot destroying a huge building is kind of ridiculous. But I'm still interested in it. Multiplayer would've been cool though!

It's only out for the consoles today, it doesn't come out for PC until the 4th I think
