Have you looked at what the used SLK's are selling for? They are selling for 90--95% of purchase price. I wouldn't say MB's depreciate faster than a Honda, as they do not.

I pick it up from the factory outside of Stuggart. They pay for my taxi both ways and one night of hotel stay. Then I'm driving on the Bahn through Germany, and then heading to Zurich will I will sight-see and then drop it off at the Port there. I've been to Zurich before, so I wanted to go back.

I'm thinking in a years time or so I'll get a CLK320 yr 1999 or 2000 with 40'000 miles on it for about £13k ~ $20k.

Sort of like this but at a lower price and less miles on it.

Haven't driven it but it looks very nice to me. Loving the 17" AMG wheels on it. Those ones and not the other thicker spoke ones. Definately do not like those ones!

What I really want is an M3 for about £15k (not likely and it will have 70k+ miles on it) but insurance will be a MOFO as I'm not over 25 and have no no claims bonus in England 🙁. £20k is just TOO steep for me to spend on a car with my pay or even if my pay goes up. Just too much for me to be 'happy' to spend on a car...😛

Ignore them. If you have the money, why buy a honda? sure they are cheap and reliabile and perphaps fun to drive in the S2000 case. But in no way Honda can match the prestige and styling of a Benz.

People that shop at Benz dealer usually don't think about getting Honda as alternative btw.

It's nice.. SL style for half price! I personally like big roomy floating cars like the S500's but since I can't afford it I drive a lincoln for 1/4 price.
