Had a '99 430, great cars. Put some 30K on it w/o any issues.

Supposedly supercharged, but I am not sure they followed their onwn nomenclature 100% of the time.

With those it's "Kompressor" for supercharged, "Bi-turbo" for turbocharged.

You don't see turbos on them these days other than the top tier AMG V12s.

Ha so the -55 models are either blown or NA, depending on which. -63 are NA and -65 are biturbo v12. No wonder everyone is confused.

That generation CLK came with eaton blowers on the smaller motors. No turbos in the 90s IIRC unless you're talking about the diesels

So it's really a diction issue then. I call the turbo chargers and the super chargers turbos. supercharger =active turbocharger or turbocharger = passive supercharger.
