My younger daughter just LOVES the Cheesecake Factory.... I have no idea why. Maybe because my parents-in-law used to take her there when she was little?

To be fair it's one of the better "corporate" versions of a restaurant in terms of ingredient quality but just like my former employer Ground-Round back in the day very little in the way of actual "cooking" takes place in their kitchen!
Maybe she has good memories from going there with grandparents, maybe she likes one of their dishes a lot, maybe she likes the feeling of having lots of choices, maybe she just wants the cheesecake?

I kinda think of chain restaurants in terms of tv dinners.
You have your bad microwave food, like the On-Cor. (cut all corners possible to deliver cheapest product)
You have your decent microwave food, like Stouffers. (cut some corners, but ensure iots got a bit more to the flavor than just being salty)
You have your "good" microwave food, which I could call stuff like "Schwans". (pretty much the best you can do if you want to simply stick something in the microwave and not properly cook a meal)

Cheesecake Factory is better than On Cor, and better than Stouffers, I'd put it in the same ball park as Schwans.

Essentially you get all the carbs, fat, salt, nicely seasoned pieces of meat, and decent looking vegetables. Terribly unhealthy and unbalanced, but, very savory.

Mall food joints don't have menu like the one op showed.
Correct. But, you still have no idea what we are talking about when referring to restaurants that reuse the same sauces. We are now all talking about mall food places. If you randomly select a Chinese restaurant in the US, the odds are you'll have randomly selected a mall-like restaurant that reuses sauces since they so outnumber the type you are talking about. See below:
To be fair, I was speaking talking about Chinese takeout and buffet places

The rumors that all restaurants just serve microwaved food is a misnomer, misstatement and misunderstanding by food noobs. I, on the other hand, am an epicurean and know that while microwaves are used under certain and limited circumstances, most food is put in oven to be re-heated.

And lots of places make fresh food every day.

So, please, do not be taken in by the wild rumor that all food is microwaved. That is simply absurd and misinformation for the sake sensationalism.
