I bought that for a female friend of mine a few years back. Your name suggests you're a guy... or do they make Curve for men ?

I'm a miniature cologne freak. Here are some thoughts that I posted on another thread.

I have a 5 piece mini-set (5-7ml) called Collection Homme, which includes:
- Armani, by Giorgio Armani: Classy, good for the night ... but makes me feel too old.
- Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani: Light, good for wearing it right in the morning.
- Polo by Ralph Lauran: Strong, refined ... also good for the night, but albeit a bit strong for regular use (my bro has the large 100ml version ... overkill)
- Lanvin L'Homee by Lanvin Paris: Very light, good for those who doesn't want to be noticed yards away.
- Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche: My personal favorite, and probably also for half of the people in these forums. It's mild, can use it any time of the day and the girls go wild.
- Minotaure by Paloma Picasso: Sweet and different, lasts along the day ...

I also have a 5 piece collection by Christian Dior, including:
- Fahrenheit: Despite popular opinion, I don't really like this one.
- Dune: Light and too sweet ... reminds me of washing machine soap.
- Higher Dior: Casual and strong, but doesn't last much.
- Eau Savage: Strong and elegant ... I like it alot.
- Eau Savage Extreme: same as the above, but without water. REALLY strong.

Besides these, I also have:
- Hugo by Hugo Boss: Another favorite ... I don't get tired of wearing it. Lasts a long time, and girls like it also.
- Angel by Thierry Mugler: I think of it as romantic and seduceable, being a little bit sweet (it's strange ... it makes me want to drink it ... which is a good thing). Also, comes in a great metal case, making it rechargeable.
- Mambo, Lucky You, Curve and Candie's set, from a Liz Clairborne collection. Although these scents are nice, especially Mambo, they last only a couple of hours, contrary to Hugo, which can last almost half a day.
- Black by Ferrari: Nice for a casual night out. Not very strong, and still not very sweet.
- Another 5 piece mini set, from Calvin Klein, with One, Eternety, Escape, Obsession and Contradiction. The last two are the best, while One is very similar to Acqua di Gio.

i got Drakkar and Armani Acqua di Gio... i just wear it going out at nights...

for casual hanging out i have polo sport or the Axe stuff.

How do you put cologne on ? (lol, this reminds me of that budweiser (?) commercial about the too-much-cologne-wearer)

where is Huggo ?

Huggo>Aqua Di Gio >...... coolwater !!

Has any one tried Isimiake (not sure of spelling) ?

The huggo is the one that lasts longest but that too aint long. Anyone knows any good ones that last long ?

Issey Miyake, I use it all the time.

I've got:

Polo Sport by Polo Ralph Lauren

Freedom by Tommy Hilfiger: Girls like this one a lot.

Animale by Parlux: I really like this stuff a lot.

but his boss wears Pleasures for men and it drives me wild (secretely) 😉

I'll second that-that stuff drives my girlfriend WILD.

So what's the deal with Issey Miyake ? How do you rate it ? I found it good. Just wanna know how long does it last ? better than huggo ?

Don't take anyone else's advice for cologne.

Take a trusted girl friend/acquaintance with you. That's the only way to get a good measure of what fits your body well.

Each person's body absorbs the cologne differently. While Aqua di Gio might smell great on one guy, it might get completely lost on another, smell WAY too potent on someone else, and just smell STRANGE on yet another person.
