Watch feels good and heavy, seems good quality, but the chain is really cheap and light...

battery ran out already 😵. Reluctant to spend $5 on a $15 watch... will look for batteries on ebay. btw, I took out some links myself.

So these watches do not use battery? just shake and bake? that's swell! will shake some today... any particular way to do it? The watch stopped working, I pulled out the pin then pushed it back it again and it started working again, so I thought it was weak battery...

My watch is coming tomorrow or in two days. I got a Soki submariner watch on ebay. I will post some pictures, especially against my Tissot T-Tempo watch.

It has a weight in it that winds it as you move through the day, or you can just wind it up like a regular watch.....

This is my daily watch, I selected the black face, waterproofing and 25 jewel (so it sweeps) options, $129 +$15 +$15 +$9.99 Western Union fee. The ceramic bezel stays shiny all of the time. $170 total delivered in 2 weeks:

My buddy has the real one and he likes mine better, LOL.
10x more than $17, but has been quite reliable and showerproof for a couple of months 😉. And if it breaks, I can afford the $170 - it's like frying a motherboard 😉.

Yeah, its mechanical, I can confirm that. I picked it up today and it was dead, I started winding it and it started ticking again. One does not have to take the back off, its transparent, you can just look in, at least the one I go is.

Heck, why not? Right on the watch it says you're an automatic winner 😀

hahaha Thats funny. I wish this was around when I played basketball at work. It would have went great with the trophy and fake gold medal I bought to rub it in my cowokers faces.

It should make a great white elephant, I am planning to save mine for that, maybe get one more... 😀

I just got my Soki watch yesterday. I recorded my unboxing experience and I will upload the video within next two days.

I bought three of the watches, why not for less than $20 a piece.
The first watch doesn't work at all. Shake or wind it as long as you want, nothing ever starts moving.
The second watch only the second hand moves, neither the minute or hour hands ever move.
The third watch works, but I use that term loosely cause it doesn't keep time accurately. It starts out fine, but then starts loosing a couple seconds here and there, and then a minute, and then two minutes. Until at the end of the day it's off by 3hrs.

😀

I will check mine, I never used it yet so no idea, all I checked was that all the arms were moving and it kept time for couple of minutes.
