Men; when driving and lost, do you stop to ask for directions??

I'm always one to suggest stopping for directions. Unless the town is seedy. I think the whole "no men ask for directions" is a myth. And yes I am a man.

BTW, I am paranoid when I ask for directions, so I ask different people to make sure they are telling me the right way.

Heh... It depends on if anyone is in my car with me. If not, I'll usually try to find the way myself. If there is someone else in the car, I'll stop so I don't have to subject them to my pointless display of male ignorance.

I normally know the areas that I go to. If I don't I have the map of the place on my Jornada PocketPC using Streets 2002. So I'm never lost anyway

Where ever I am, it's here. Where I'm going or whom I'm going to see may be lost, but I always know where I am.

On the rare occasions I am going somewhere I'm not familiar with, I take a map and directions. If I need help, I'll definitely ask. Much preferable to wandering around aimlessly.
