During Deadliest Catch, I saw a commercial for the new Men vs. Wild. Bear Grylls is not going solo this time (not counting his camera crew). Should be interesting.



















Oh, and the other guy is Will Ferrell ... should be hysterical. "Bear, f*** these snowshoes." :laugh:
 
I hope he kills and eats Will Ferrell so the guy will shut up. What I really want to see is a Robin Williams/Will Ferrell death-match to see who annoys the other to death faster.
 
I don't care for either that show or Will in general but the combination of the two makes me want to watch this episode for some reason.

that reminds me of this show they are doing with Les that is a reality show for teenagers or something, lol...

Bear's show is such a crock of shiat. I liked both shows before Survivorman quit. Now that Survivorman is gone, I won't watch Bear's show. It sucks. He cheats.

Les was definitely the real deal. Bear's show is more fear factor meets nature ... "what's he going to eat next?" type of thing. Still entertaining.
 
I'm a huge fan of Man vs Wild and have been waiting for the new episodes. When I heard about this one with Will Farrel, I was kind of like "wut".

But it turned out to be pretty cool and Will was funny, like they were just good together.

One thing I noticed is how different an average civilian would be in a situation like that compared to someone trained like Bear. Granted it's Will and he was purposely being goofy at times, but still it was there.

I can't believe those two little sticks supported both of them (Will is a pretty big guy too). I thought sure they were going to snap when the camera kept going to those sticks in the snow!

i was about to call shens on bear's hershey bar story ... until the sticks held. i don't think i'd have the testicular fortitude to try that myself.
