And do you continue to do so? And why? is it a ladies thing? Clean issues?

Back when I was sixteen I did but was so scared it wouldn't come back.

Dude screw you all, it's 2018. Comfort first over being insecure like a little girl.

You're barbaric and plain disgusting if you don't trim. It tugs, gets sweaty, plain old sucks. Trimming SHOULD be norm.

You NEVER go back once you trim.

Same thing with getting a dedicated tongue scraper. All the gunk comes off and your breath is super clean. That's where 95% bad breath comes from - the bacterial buildup on the soft tissue, not your teeth or gums.

Don't think you're god damn special, you have the same gunk. Everyone does.

Anyone have recommendations for a good electric trimmer? I used to use the pop-up precision trimmer on my Braun 340S which was awesome, but that broke so now I'm using an old Philips Norelco beard trimmer. It works, but sometimes it nicks... 🙁

norelco bodygroom ftw. as one amazon review put it, "shaft, beanbag, starfish safe". i'm not sure you can get a higher recommendation than that.

I go for the full topiary thing. Sometimes it's sculpted to look like a poodle or Groucho Marx or an elephant dancing with a 1967 Corvette. Gotta keep the ladies interested.

Never got around to it although I'd like to someday, so I just trim a little once in a while. Too busy upgrading my PCs I guess.

No, here's a pic of it for reference

I keep mine trimmed and neat. Most of the girls i've been with are shaved so why would i expect them to like a forest down there from me?? 🙂

Depends on the size of your weewee. Small you need to trim good so it looks bigger.

I personally don't trim. Tried it a few times but found it completely unnecessary and never had any complaints.

@Perknose

Can we have a crisp 70s disco beat when people pick option 2 please? 😛

---

I keep things trimmed down there, otherwise I'd end up with an Einstein-starting-going-grey thing going on. Too short a trim and short poky sharp hairs start poking things they shouldn't.

I have shaved for many years, every shower. Have a full beard, but shave my neck to just under the jawline, no mirror needed, and shave below before putting the razor on the shelf.

I would have thought the poll results would get skewed somewhat by the fact that the medical profession (at least in the UK) used to mandate regions near op sites being shaved beforehand (so if for example an artery in the thigh was going to get worked on, genitals would get shaved) for infection control (ie. some people here have had their genitals shaved before an op). Then (as I understand it) they decided that introducing miniature cuts through shaving to a site where infection control was a concern was a bad idea 🙂

When I tried it I've found that once I started shaving I had to keep shaving every other day to keep stubble in check. Otherwise the stubble would be painful for the lady, killing her enjoyment, and in turn killing all the fun.

So as much as I liked clean look, I had to stop doing it, now I just trim it to about an inch so that it looks decent and doesn't poke the lady bits.

For the shaving guys, how often do you do it? And how do you not find the stubble a problem?

Keep everything well trimmed down and neat with a bodygroom. Less trouble than shaving and far more comfortable for working out and other uh activities than letting it run wild.

I have shaved a few times over the years but it's not worth the upkeep IMO.

I tried it once as a teen but I found it just made it really itchy. I leave it alone now days, sometimes it's best not to play with fire. 😛
