<< Fort Pierce, Florida -- Two South Florida men have filed a $1.1 trillion federal lawsuit against Osama bin Laden. The suit alleges that as U.S. citizens, the suspected terrorist leader has threatened them with personal injury.
David Pitchford and David Bruner, both of Stuart, Florida, are asking for $100 billion in compensatory damages and $1 trillion in punitive damages, plus court costs.
According to the suit, the plaintiffs had to build and refortify their bomb shelters because of bin Laden's threats. They say the threats also inflicted personal injuries on them, including high blood pressure and stomach disorders.
The suit names bin Laden and an associate as defendants.
No hearing date has been set.
Pitchford concedes it's highly unlikely bin Laden would appear in court.

Hahahahaha $1.1 trillion plus court costs. Wait! If bin Laden doesn't show up, they're gonna have to give him a "failure to appear"! He sure doesn't want the police on his tail, so he probably will show up.
