For example:
If Motzart was cloned, more than likely the parents would push this child to be into the piano and other music. If Michael Jordan was cloned, the parents may push this child into doing sports activities. And, what if that child didn't like those kinds of things. They may have the same genetic makeup, but not the same personality. Not the emotional problems with having someone who looks exactly like you, more of the pressures of being like someone. Just because you look like someone else doesn't mean you will have the same personality. I don't think people understand this from what I have read. For example one article I read told of this man who wanted to clone his dying mother because he wanted to be able to give her the opportunities she didn't get as a child. I don't really believe that he understood that the clone would not be his mother, just nearly a duplicate in the genetics. In another article I read, a women wants to clone the child she lost, I think mostly because she wanted that child back, but of course she would only have someone who looked like her child, but would probably have a different personality. Your personality comes not only from your parents, but also the enviroment you grow up and live in.
Sorry so long winded....I could debate about this for hours!!
