hey guys just a quick question . If you run memtest can you overclock the memory in the program or does it have to be 'clocked in the bios. and is this a good program to "burn in " new memory?

no, you cant overclock the memory in the program. yeah it should work pretty good to burn in new memory.
try this as well as sometimes the BIOS based "memtest" didn't catch errors that this did:

Memtest86 can be instructed to explicitly probe for memory, without consulting the BIOS.
