MemTest (where is error readout?)

Part 1
I am embarrassed to ask but I can't tell where to look for the results on MemTest.

I ran it last night for 6 hours and did not see anything in the little box other than the % info etc. Is there a seperate window I should look at for the results?

Part 2
I was loading WinXP last night with my new Corsair XMS3200LL ram installed and it kept crashing when I tried to update the windows drivers.... I put some generic ram in and it loaded fine.

Before doing the RMA thing, I decided to run MEMTEST and ran it for 6 hours but did not see any "error" message and did not know exactly where do look.

Maybe the error was a coincidence.

thanks,
Mattlock

The errors show up directly under the memory info (in the empty space)...if they aren't there then there's no errors...🙂

What tests did you run?

Just pressed ""start testing" and it ran for 6 hours....with no messages..

Dont see an option to select any type of tests...

I bott from cd-rom and it just starts on its own....I then hit "c" for configuration then <2> then <3> then <1> then <2> then <0> then spacebar....

this will turn on cache and select all test instead of just standard...
