Memtest freeze ups with new motherboard!

Hey guys i just got an Abit IC7 and i only have 1 stick of Buffalo 512mb 3200 with a 2.6c. Running totally at stock speeds with SPD memory timings, i always get a freeze after about a minute of running memtest! I bumped up the voltage on the ram and a little on the cpu and same results! I ran Prime95 for 24+ hours and no errors, even overclocked 2.6c@3.2 with 5/4 memory divider, Prime95 shines. Any suggestions?

IIRC, Memtest86+ came out recently, have you tried this latest version?

i just had 3.0 laying around, didn't try new version, i'll check that out!

Yeah, this problem occurs ALOT. You have to disable USB function in BIOS so that it doens't freeze. Weird, i know, but it works.

disable usb2? I just tried the newer version, no luck!

Yeah, disable Legacy USB.

I disabled the usb controller, and the system just turns off now, what could be the problem?
