Memtest errors on first run.

Could be a slight glitch in BIOS. MAybe just maybe during post when you booted memtest that one time there was a slight "glitch" in the POST memory test and something went awry. I've seen crazy things happen when installing new parts and messing around in BIOS. I would just try to run memtest a few more times and if no errors, then you are pry good to go.
