memtest 86 question

is it acceptable to get any errors in memtest? I just ran it and got 2 errors...Should I return it? It's Kingston HyperX PC2700 2X512MB's. Thanks.
EDIT-How long does this mofo run for??? It took an hour to do one pass, now it's on to number 2! Is this normal?

It takes a long time to run each test. More likely, you probably have a timing issue or config problem. What's your MB, o/c, etc? I'm definitely not a Memtest expert, won't even run on my system.

re-run the test and it will run as long as you let it. If the errors are consistant I would exchange RAM

Is anything running out of spec. aka overclocked? If so, please return everything to default settings and try running again. Errata reported in MT can also be attributed to chipset and caches. This can happen when they are running to close to SOA limits.
