i just got this stick of memory from pc supply source and it came unboxed, unlabeled....uneverything and to keep it to the point, " im really pissed off.

basically, i want to know is there a program out there that i can test the ram speed with, for both the new ram and my current to make sure that the ram i got is the real thing?

thanx

well, take out all your other ram except for the one you just recieved, insert it into the motherboard, and the BIOS will read the SPD on the ram. Go look in your BIOS at memory clocks. If it says 166 MHz, you have got PC2700 RAM.(333Mhz). If it says 133, you have PC2100 RAM.(266 MHz). And the CAS Latency will tell you if it's 2, 2.5, or maybe 3. 🙂
