Memory Versions

Background:

Purchased a stick of this ram a couple weeks ago:

I got it to go with the 512 stick I currently have of the XMS C2 ram. Both are C2 sticks with the same latencies but the versions are not the same. I don't recall the exact numbers but lets just say one stick is V1.1 and the other is V2.0. The older version has a flat black heatspreader, the newer version stick has a shiny black heatspreader.

Question:

Should there be any conflict running the older version and never version if they are both C2 sticks with identical latencies?

There should be no problems. Just run memtest86 on it for a few hours and if it survives, you should have no problems.
