I have memory that is spec'd at 5-5-5-12. It's SPD is allegedly programmed like that, but in my motherboard, it winds up 5-5-5-18, and I want to manually set it to 12.
Problem is that in the bios (Gigabyte DS3, F7 bios, BTW) each setting goes by its formal name (RAS, RtC, etc). Which number is WHAT setting? I looked on Corsairs' site and didn't find squat.
*edit*
I think I found it...in CPU-Z. According to CPU-Z:
5 = CAS
5 = Ras to CAS
5 = Ras Precharge
18 = Cycle time
Is that correct? I don't totally trust CPU-Z since it still says I have the F4 BIOS when in fact it's been flashed to F7 since before I even loaded Windows. :roll:
