Memory Timing Problems!

I have a pair of Kingston 512 MB PC3200 sticks.

Model KHX3200AK2.

The timings are supposed to be 2-3-2-6 @ 200 mhz

But when I set the timings to AUTO, it automatically goes to 2.5-3-3-8.

And when I set it myself, it automatically goes back to those timings. I have an Asus A8V-Deluxe an Athlon 64 3400+ s939. Anyone else have this problem?

I have the old bios (1006 i think), could this be a factor of the problem?
