Memory Test looping

I disabled the quick POST test in the bios (5W) on my abit KG7 and now my memory test is looping...

What is causing that?

Disabling the quick post test in the bios caused it.

The quick POST option just makes a quick test, but the long POST will loop several times. I guess it's a more thorough test. I don't know anything else about it, hopefully someone else will post some more elaborate info

Sorry, I couldn't resist! I think PliotronX nailed it.

I believe it loops four times and then booting continues.

Threw me for a loop the first time it happened to me as I did not recall making that change to the bios.
