memory referencing errors? in win2k

Hi,
I did something real dumb I tried to tweak memory setting by following a guide and changed some values in the registry for memory..basically stuff to do with virtual memeory and I did not back up a copy of registry.. right Nero is not wokring any more.. on my machine..

is there any way that I could find out what is causing nero to run.. some times I found that another application may try to access the same memory location or so taht would cause it.. if some one can give some advice besides fresh install .I would appreciate it..
