i have a stick of 133 memory here that i believe is 512mb

though im not sure how to tell - i put it in my moms computer and old p200 that takes pc66
in there it showed as 64 mb

the numbers on the sticker say 6251-512-1148

anyway to know?

thanks

That old P200's motherboard probably won't support 512mb memory modules. You'll have to try in a system that supports 512mb memory sticks and see what it shows up as. Also what are the #'s on the chips themselves? HTH

Using my keen computer sense.. and a quick Google search, I have deduced that it is indeed a 512Meg stick of PC133 ram.
You will definitely not be able to read it as anything larger than 64megs though in almost any Pentium class mobo (super 7 boards excluded, which may read up to 128 or possibly 256meg sticks).

Validation for PC133 ram
