Hi everyone,
I am building an AMD computer on the Asus Nvidia Board (A7N8X Deluxe). I am adding a Barton 2500, which I hear is a great cpu. What type of memory should I use. I know that 3200 is better than 2700, but is also more expensive. I can get 3200 on by looking on pricewatch for around 50 bucks for 512mb. Will this "generic" brand be compatible with the ASUS board? Or, should I get some corsair 2700 for the same price? Any suggestions are helpful!
Thanks,
J

2700 will be a match for the mobo and cpu unless you want to oc, then go with the 3200. I always recomend name brand ram over the "Fred's" stuff. Top tier manufacturers ( Crucial, Corsair, Mushkin, etc.) test every stick. Others may test one per barrel.
