Hi! I got 3 sticks of Crucial 126 PC133 ram I think model numer: CT32M64S4D75 (not sure as I'm at work right now). I originally had some infineon 2x256 PC133 and Mushkin 128 PC133 v.2 in my system which was real stable but could never overclock past 135-140mhz. So I figured I get some all the sasme brand and good quality and be able to go past this mark. Well with all the my banks populated my system is crap. Reboots, errors, stop stops fuctioning properly..etc... I thought I juacked up my system when I installed the ram b/c I upgraded my cpu, heatsink/fan and added hot glue around the cpu socket for better heat readings. Well I was getting so pissed especially sinced it destroyed my OS. re installed and still the same problems. Then I get a thought of switching around the sticks in the bank. Didn't work... so I then removed one stick.. viola!! stable again and can O/C.

So my questions are whats going on here? Why can't I use all 256 sticks (be I need to do further testing on that)? How far due these sticks usally go and settings? Would I need to do some kind of burn-in to get it to work with all sticks? Pisses me off that I bought all this ram and can't use it.

After you pulled the one strip, did you swap them around just-in-case one strip is bad or maybe one slot is bad? Just a thought.

No I haven't really done that yet. At the time wanted to get my computer working. Since I do know I can troubleshoot more to find the exact cause. The thing is that I had all the banks filled before the memory change and it worked fine.. Maybe its bad ram and my board is not picking it up... I'll see
