Memory Problems

I have an ASUS 754 K8N-Deluxe motherboard which only houses 3 slots for ram.

Been running on: 2x 512mb DDR400 PC3200 Kingston HyperX
Just added: 1x 1GB DDR400 PC3200 Corsair Value Select

My problem is that my system won't recognize the Corsair stick when I have any of the Kingston ones in, for instance if I have all 3 in, it'll only read the 2x 512mb, if I have 1 512 and the 1gb in, it'll only read 1x 512mb. If I only have the corsair in, it reads fine. I've tried every possible combination in terms of which stick goes into which slot. Are the kingston sticks just incompatible w/ the corsair one? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you have that much RAM in, you might want to try slowing down the speeds for all the sticks in BIOS - and upping the voltage.

I tried tweaking clock speed and all the available options :( no luck, guess I'll have to get a new stick

no matter what you buy, unless its a third 512mb kingston hyper-x stick of the same model, it wont run. you could sell your 2*512 sticks, and buy another matching 1 gig stick though.
