Memory Problem?

I have a "generic" piece of pc 133 ram that I bought from upgradeplanet.com I tried to run it at CL=2. It worked fine in windows. When I run a game like Half-Life Counterstrike, in the middle of playing, it will simply close. No error messages, no evidence as to why it closed. It just shuts off and I'm back to my desktop. Does anybody know if this has to do with RAM? If it isn't, then what could possibly cause an eerie "shut-down" of a program? Thanks for any help you might have to offer.

Game could have been copied?! thats what some Copied games do! Also ahve you downloaded the latest patches fro the game? Because it shouldn't do that unless there is somethng bottlenecking it, like Graphics card, or CPU speed, or something. I wouldn't think it would be the Ram thats doing it.

Hope this helped,

Albert.
