I got an Intel DG965OT motherboard, and TWIN2X1024A-6400. I can not get the OS to load on the system. It keeps getting blue screen errors. I can not set the voltage in the BIOS. I checked the website and the memory was listed as compatible.
Looks like there is a newer BIOS. So I'm going to install it. And I also have another DDR2 DIMM I got from work to test with. I'll try them both tonight.
This is common with performance type memory and MOBOs that do not allow Vdimm adjustments in the bios. Depending on what you'd rather replace, I'd suggest either a new MOBO with some OCing options or, some of our Value Select memory rated for use at 1.8v. Based on cost, it makes more sense IMO to replace the MOBO even though this is more work.
