Memory problem? Need memory test.

I have just installed IHATE SPAM. Whenever I try to initialize it's friends list after about 15 seconds the computer locks up tight so that I have to do a hard reset or it reports a memory error at address 2F8FB6F where it says it could not perform a write. Note that this address is repeatable.

I do have ZoneAlarm installed, but have taken the necessary steps to prevent conflicts.

Does any of this sound like RAM errors?

Also, this is a new computer. So far it has been thermally pampered by winter to some extent. Today however the temperature has rocketed up to 29 degrees here in Minneapolis. This comes into play, sort of, because the morning sun tends to warm up my south-facing apartment.

My memory is two sticks, 1GB total, matched pair, of Corsair TWINX1024-2700LLPT.

Also, where can I get a reasonably inexpensive RAM test program. That should have been part of my "toolkit", but I just never got around to it.

Thanks in advance to all of you who reply!

You want to go to http://www.memtest86.com/
Burn the ISO and boot from the CD, select "all tests" an have it run a night straight, in a loop

I used the ISO on a RW and it works great. It was the preferred tool in the time the K7S5A came out find a memory timing that worked :)
