RLX7,
i to have been searching for the awnser to the ram timeing question, i too have an abit socket-a board and ram that suports 2-2-2. unfortunaly, no one seems to realy know, they just tell you to turn up everything with the bios. from what i understand it seems to be that dynamic ram is made of columns and rows of infmation, data is accessed from the column and then must be refreshed throught the row. in this situatuion you have a cas(column address strobe) latency and a ras(row address strobe) precharge time, i belive there is also a ras to cas delay.
what i just decribed i found about two weeks ago in various articals on the net that i found with google serch. i am by no means an electrical enginer and could be wrong on any of it; i just wanted to thow out what i have heard to get the disscsion flowing.
