Memory OC question.

I currently own a pair of Mushkin DDR2800 RAM sticks.

Right now I've oc'd my E6320 to 2.6GHz (375 FSB).

If I have a choice of two RAM:FSB ratios, one to run my mem at 750MHz (1:1) or 937.5MHz (1.25:1) which one should I use? Does it make a difference in terms of performance what freq. my memory is running at?

Theoretically - faster is better.

Your divider choices are really limited - to say the least.

You have to try and see. I recently relaxed my subtimings, because with RAM running too fast, my game performance was a bit jittery!

Sure my SANDRA mem bandwidth was lowered from 6600 to 6300, but playing NHL 07 and other games became smoother.

It's all a trial an error game - speed alone is not the only factor here.

If you want to set a SuperPi record - crank everything up as high as you can go for the bragging rights.

If you want a stable, well performing system for some time to come - go for the balance of performance and stability.

Well I have a 1.5:1 and 2:1 option if that make any difference =P.

Seems like actual performance won't be affected too much. At the same time I don't believe my mem frequency is at a point where I'd be sacrificing stability (at least I haven't seen behavior to say so).

Was just a little worried about (longterm) problems I may run into by setting the memory over 100MHz faster than specifications. After reading some trusty Newegg reviews it seems like a lot of people have oc'd the same memory to 1066MHz so hopefully I'm in the clear at ~900.
