I just bought a BCKT133 MB and an 800 Thunderbird. I've tried 4 different PC100 and PC133 168pin 3.3v DIMMS and the dam thing wont boot! It keeps giving the the "no DRAM detected" message. Any suggestions?

Is your RAM generic? There are issues sometimes with generic ram, for example, my Soyo Via133 board had trouble with generic rams, only worked well with retail ram, like Kingston, Micron, etc.

I tried generic, toshiba, and corsair. PC 133 and PC100. I'm pretty sure the MB is shot.

Also make sure the ram is firmly in. One mobo had the ram loose, but it looked like it was in. Try take the ram out, put the ram back in, pushing it in as far as it can go, but not too hard, don't wanna mess up the ram. Did you also try the ram on other comps just in case?

Stick the ram in & try clearing the CMOS ,see if that does anything.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've done everythinng listed above. I'm pretty sure the MB is shot. BC is a BCM motherboard. www.bcmcom.com

All the memory works in other pc's. I'm going to look into returning the board. Thanks again.
