Memory not being recognized?

I've got a DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D and 4x512MB PC3200 Samsung RAM. The BIOS is only showing 1 gig of RAM, Windows only shows 1 gig, but CPU-Z shows 2 gigs. Anyone know how to fix this?

The build date is 06/23/2005. My friends have the same motherboard as me, and 4 sticks of the same ram as me and it works fine for them. The only difference is that one of my sticks is a good 6 months older than the others and I've got an Opteron 144.

Are your SAMSUNG modules of the single-sided variety?

If so you have to:
1. Adjust VDIMM at 2.8V.
2. Set memory timing as 2T.
3. Change BIOS Setting 'DRAM Configuration -->Command Per Clock: Disabled'

AMD officially does not support Opteron chips in Desktop motherboards.
(although DFI does offer support for the configuration)

My samsung modules have chips on both sides of the ram. Tried putting the vDIMM to 2.8v and CPC is disabled which puts the timing to 2T.

Get the newest BIOS. It prob is not a hrdware thing, since CPUZ sees the RAM, so it must be that the BIOS has trouble seeing it. Also manually set the timings to 3-3-3-8, and see if that works.
