Memory Latency differs in BIOS/Windows

Latency when i look in bios is 2.5 (set to auto).

i load up windows, run cpuz/sandra and it is 3.

i set it to 2.5 manually in bios, and still the same results.

what could be wrong?

btw, i have a gigabyte ga-7va-c with ocz and crucial memory sticks.
 
Personaly I'd trust the bios over a software utility, some mainboards (espicaly Asus ones I've found) hide the actual memory informantion from software untilitys. Anyways hope this helps..
