I have G Skill DDR2 800 4-4-3-5 memory for my C2D setup (OCed to 3.4Ghz using 9x375).

For some reason, CPU-Z lists the memory as DDR3 32-5-2-12 (yes CAS 32) running at 750Mhz. What could be causing this? I've been trying to stabilize my OCed system but I keep getting Orthos errors. I'm not sure if its the CPU or RAM causing the problems.

You have to set the voltage to 2.1v then change the timings to 4-4-3-5 in the BIOS, my G.Skill had to do this, almost all memory does, except EPP.

I have the voltage at 2.1v and set the timings manually. I still don't understand why it does this. I've got the Asus P5K-Deluxe MB.

Wait, in CPU-z are you looking at the SPD or the actual memory, if your looking at the mmory, I would contact ASUS customer support
