Memory is not being recognized

Hi Guys,

I have an MSI KT3 Ultra2 mobo with (2) 256mb PC2700 modules. I recently added a 512mb module on the 3rd (And last) slot but Windows didn't recognize it. (Take note, these are all the same memory modules using Samsung TCB3 chips)

So i swapped the modules around, placing the 512 in the first slot and moved the other two down. Windows now sees 768mb.

I'm starting to think the 3rd slot is busted. The manual states i can mix-match any type of Single or Double-sided DDR so that can't be it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
