Check out this LINK for information on beta4w.com. It works great for Win98. Save beta4w.com into C: drive, using DOS, and then add a line into your Autoexec.bat to load the program on startup.

The other popular program to enable 4 way interleave is wpcredit and wpset. Do a search for this in the Overclockers.com/Az forum and you will get the info you need. Wpcredit/wpset caused random crashes for me with Win98 whereas Beta4w did not. Wpcredit/wpset works great for Win2k however.

Wpcredit is a nice program to check the chipset values. At first I used Wpcredit and Wpset to change and load the 4-way interleave values but I was getting boot-up errors every now and again. After installing beta4w, the boot errors have stopped. The important thing is to load the program during boot-up by adding a command into the Autoexec.bat file. After that, check the chipset values using Wpcredit, just don't change anything.
At any rate, use whichever program gives the best results. If Wpcredit/Wpset works for you, great. Go with it.

Also, if you set your memory timing to SPD in your BIOS 4 way interleaving will be enabled be default, but it's still a good idea to tweak things further for max memory throughput.
